HISTORY OF CHEMCOTE
OUR PAVING HISTORY
Founded in 1984 as a sealcoating company, Chemcote has steadily expanded into a leading force in asphalt paving. The addition of an asphalt paving division in 1987 enabled the company to take on more extensive and complex projects, setting the stage for future growth. One of its most notable achievements came in 2001 with the $5 million Polaris Mall paving project, demonstrating Chemcote’s capability to handle high-profile developments.
The company’s progress continued as it transitioned to an employee-owned structure in 2018, strengthening its commitment to quality, collaboration, and innovation. By 2024, Chemcote surpassed $54 million in gross revenue, reflecting its dedication to excellence. With plans to break ground on a new headquarters in 2025, Chemcote is poised to continue its legacy as an industry leader in asphalt paving.
